I am not angry about the time I have spent, nor the experiences I have had, nor the "lost" opportunities, I accept the path I have trodden. I am angry at this thing, this thing we call the ORG.....it is only getting worse.

i really don't understand the concept of forgiveness .
lately in my life several people have thrown that term around so easily ,and i am confused .
is it because we were taught to cut people off so easily as jws that i find it hard to forgive ?.
Forgiveness is for the forgiver, NOT the forgiven.....when you forgive...you let go off the burden of resentment...It's hard, I know....
my girlfriend's daughter and her fiancee asked me to marry them last night.
they live in connecticut and will be married in new york.
i felt honored that i was asked but i don't think i can do it because i am not a clergyman or minister and my u derstanding is that only clergy or judges and lawyers and justice of the peace can perform a wedding ceremony and marry a couple.. does anyone have any information on this subject?
check NY state law...you may be able to give a talk and even capable of performing the vows, the person OFFICIATING may have to be a registered clergyman or other

as far as i understand, this is the sequence of events:.
a) june 14th 2012 - on a trial by jury, cancace conti wins a civil law case involving child sexual abuse.
Appelate court cannot be too hasty with this decision as it will have future, all encompassing ramifications if the plaintiff wins. It may well end up at the State Supreme Court level. I don't mind waiting, as waiting implies that they are really mulling it over and the legal point in question is not cut-and-dried. The wheels of justice turn slowly, let's just hope that the decision causes some other wheels to slam to a halt!
